Which rides do you feature?

We feature only rides we can recommend in good faith and would happily ride again. Scenic quality and the cultural character of a region both matter to us.

How are the routes chosen?

Quiet, low-traffic roads are particularly important to us. Whenever possible, we choose small, calm and scenic roads, even when that means sacrificing a little flow or average speed.

Who can submit a route?

We deliberately publish routes ridden by one of the three Cyclists. Consistency and quality matter more than building the largest possible catalogue. We are always grateful for route suggestions by email.

Have all routes really been ridden?

Yes. Every route has been ridden by at least one of us. GPX tracks are cleaned and smoothed so that users are not sent into the same dead ends that made us turn around.

Are the routes described in detail?

Alongside the freely available GPX track, each route has a dynamic map that can also be used on a smartphone while riding.

What is the best way to follow a route?

Download the freely available GPX track and transfer it to a phone with a suitable app or to a navigation device. You can of course also print the relevant map section.

Where do routes start?

To make arrival and parking easier, we aim to start from accessible public car parks. Regulations and fees can change, so every rider remains responsible for compliance.

Do the routes comply with traffic rules?

Yes. When riding and documenting routes, we follow the applicable road traffic rules. Conditions can change, so riders remain responsible for their own decisions on the road.

Is feedback welcome?

Absolutely. We appreciate email about changed conditions, parking, mistakes, suggestions, wishes or complaints.

May I use GPX tracks privately?

Yes. Tracks may be downloaded and used for private purposes. Commercial use or publishing tracks on other platforms requires our consent.
